Anti-Pesto Humane Pest Control was Wallace and Gromit's business venture in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Their job was to catch vegetable eating critters such as rabbits, so that they wouldn't interfere with the Annual Giant Vegetable Competition. They help by placing gnomes with secret cameras so the alarm will go off if any critters are in the gardens. When that does happen, Wallace and Gromit will dash to the scene and take the critters back to their home because it's a humane pest control company that have no intention of killing or bringing harm to any pests, despite that the logo has a flyswatter on it.
Trivia[]
- The Anti-Pesto S.W.A.T. Team is a nod to the real life Anti-Pesto Pest Control Agency, who even responded to the film with positive praise. The major difference is that Wallace & Gromit's Anti-Pesto catches rabbits from eating vegetables, while the real life Anti-Pesto kills insects and rodents.
- The Anti-Pesto aspect was added, because the real life Anti-Pesto loved Wallace & Gromit so much that they allowed Aardman and DreamWorks permission to use the Anti-Pesto name for a S.W.A.T. Team of people who catch rabbits, but didn’t want the team to murder rabbits, otherwise they’ll get sued, as it would have been disrespectful to the agency. Aardman and even DreamWorks Animation agreed with Anti-Pesto’s statement, and agreed to still have the rabbits remain safe in their home, which they liked better.
