The Motorbike and Sidecar are vehicles that are used by Wallace and Gromit in A Close Shave.
History[]
A Close Shave[]
The Motorbike and Sidecar were used to transport Wallace and Gromit to the mission of their window-cleaning business. The Sidecar has hooks to carry a ladder.
During the sheep rescue. Preston rams the Motorbike with his truck, causing the Motorbike and Sidecar to separate. Gromit flies off a 2,000-foot (610 m) drop ledge, but then he activates the Sidecar's feature, converting it into plane mode and flies off safely.
Meanwhile, Wallace attempts to free Wendolene and the sheep from Preston's truck, but ends up trapped there himself.
During the scene where Preston is about to suck Wendolene and the Sheep into the Knit-o-Matic, taking Wallace with them, Gromit came to the rescue in his plane. He fired at Preston with the porridge gun.
A Matter of Loaf and Death[]
The Motorbike and Sidecar can be seen in the background at Top Bun, where it was half-covered by a tarpaulin.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl[]
The Motorbike and Sidecar will be appearing in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl as Gromit's transport as he tries to help Wallace clear his name after being accused of the crime of stolen garden goods from across the north.
Other appearances[]
A small version of the Motorbike and Sidecar is seen in the background during the Curiosity Corner segment of the Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention episode "From A to B".
The Motorbike and Sidecar also appear in the Sumitomo Life "Wallace & Gromit" (just the Motorbike), Children in Need 2009 Wallace and Gromit advertisement and "Wallace & Gromit's Great UK Adventure" adverts.
In the Angry Kid episode "Speed", a mug of Wallace and Gromit on the Motorbike and Sidecar can be seen.
Trivia[]

- Model elements of the Motorbike and Sidecar have survived to this day:
- The screen-used Motorbike and Sidecar are currently on display at the main entrance of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the host of Wallace & Gromit's Thrill-O-Matic.

- When Gromit was needed to sit in the side car/plane, half of a model was used. One of the heads that was on the half-Gromit is currently being preserved by an unknown Aardman employee, as it was given to him in 1995.
- According to the commentary to A Matter of Loaf and Death, they couldn't get the original model for the Motorbike and Sidecar's cameo, so they used a piece of Wallace & Gromit merchandise for it instead.
